When my purchase "Vornado Heavy-Duty Shop Fan" first arrived and I looked at the size and thought "Impossible" ....To say the least the Fan has replaced two of my fans a Lasko 24" fan and a Lasko 20" stand fan ....
The Vornado really moves a lot of air ...It is not as noisy as the other two fans either and I can hear myself think for once.
I like it so much I just ordered a second one and believe me you won't be disappointed. I say this as a retired Specifications Engineer.

I raise American Bulldogs on my farm in Missouri. I have 4 of these fans in my kennel facilities. They move a tremendous amount of air. I use them year-round and they are fantastic !! Easy to clean, also. The front pops off very simply. Trouble-free. I HIGHLY recommend this product !!

I have an older top of the line Vornado fan at the shop. We needed NEW fans for the hot months of summer to move lots of air around AND out on the job too! The boss ordered TWO of the new HD models. Once assembled with its stand, we put my older model and the new HD side by side on the bench. First off with the HD, the pitch of the blades are DEEPER, the motor is BALL BEARING equipped and more compact and when you hit the high speed from off, it comes up to full in about ONE SECOND ! My older model takes a while to get to high speed which puts out the same amount of CFM (by feel) as the HD on speed 2 ! Its noise level is LOW and according to the brochure, I believe it can move air to about 100 feet away! We tried this in a church. With it down on the floor in the main isle, we had it pointed up to the rear gallery where we were working and you could easily feel good air circulation. The distance was at least 60 feet upward to our location.

The quality is first rate, and the price reflects this. Thinking of buying one of these for the home next (O:
