Better than a fold up

Needed to replace our broken metal fold up ironing board and always kinda wanted an in wall unit. This one was cheap and seems decent. Fits in a 2x4 wall which wasn't really clear when I bought it. And the door can be mounted to swing from either side.
Nice product until the door fell off!

The product worked as described when I first received it. And it did a nice job of freeing up floor space once I installed it. But in less than six months, the front door fell off, breaking the hinges and damaging the door itself. Now I'm in need of replacement parts. Ugh.

I've only used this a few times but, so far, it's working smoothly and as described. Being a neat nik I love being able to hide the ironing board when not in use. Also, the shelves are big enough to hold the iron and other accessories. I am not handy enough to install it myself so had to hire someone to do it for me, which about doubled the cost of the board.
