I have a Frigidaire frig that didn't come with and ice maker. I really didn't need one for awhile because I needed the extra freezer space. I just bought an up right freeze and realized I could now get an ice maker. I found this one and decided to buy it since it wasn't that expensive(I was thinking they would cost a lot more). It took me about 20-25 minutes to install it. It took me a little long because I couldn't find the wire for the solenoid. The wire on my frig was cable tied to the back of the frig's coils. Got it all hooked up and its making ice. Now I don't have to make sure I always have cold drinks in the frig.

Bought this icemaker to replace my factory original one. It works better then the factory one my fridge came with. It does a excellent job. Works great with the culligan water ice filter i bought also to compliment it.

I recommend you buy the kit instead of the ice maker alone. The pump/acuator and new tubing. Make my old icemaker a new one. Performance is alot better than the old one.

I installed this and is now working however I had to rewire the harness and splice wire with nuts and tape and used the old valve with the screen which is better fit. The motor went out on the old one and this was cheaper than just the motor itself. Was an easy modification dont be afraid to do this .
