I have the hoover floormate cleaning machine and I love it. I've used the hoover for probably ten years. This cleaner made by Bissell works just wonderful in my machine. Cleans the floors beautifully and shines them too. It will only cause a stickiness if you use too much product. Be sure to measure and there is no problem with it causing stickiness.

This is a great product. Hard floors are really clean and shiney. Works wonders when used with the Bissell Steam Floor Cleaner.

Bissell Floor Cleaner is the best for use with Floormate cleaners.

I have a Hoover Floormate that takes the floor cleaning solution mixed with water and sprays it on the floor. The machine has scrubbing brushes that scrub the area and then the machine vacuums it up. I have had this machine for some time, so there are probably newer models out there. The bottom line is that this cleaner leaves the floor shining and not sticky. There no rinsing needed; and my floors feel great and look great. I just found it on Amazon for the first time, and I am thrilled because they sell it in individual bottles. I previously was ordering it from the manufacturer and had to buy a case.
