Apparently there are two types of filters for the Petmate Fountain. These are the less desirable type. It's difficult to tell which ones I'm getting sometimes, these weren't the ones I wanted, they are soft and flimsey without the stiffer plastic frame in the other type. While they fit they don't seem to last as long for me. I'll use them up but be more carefull in the future to get the correct ones.

Pet mate has changed their filters over the years, but I find these filters to be okay. Work well most of the time. Once in a while my water dish leaks and soaks the floor. I have to replace the filter to stop the water overflow. Can't figure out why it happens, but it does. Amazon has the filters at a decent price so I don't have to drive to the pet shops to get them. Thank you prime!
