This was just like the one that came with the vacuum cleaner. So the product itself was identical. I do have a problem with the way Bissell designed this filter. It's a pain in the rear to clean. I like using the vacuum, but dread cleaning this filter. It's easy to clean the main filter, but this secondary filter which captures the dust is difficult. You need to pull the foam filter off the enclosed drum and clean both.

I bought this for my Bissell vac and it fits perfectly. It seems to be made the same as the one that came with the vac. Although some parts of the filter seem to be some sort of paper, it is durable enough that I can wash them by hand when the dust builds up too much and can't be shaken out easily enough. I decided to buy this so I can have a spare when one is drying after being washed by hand.

I had been taking decent care of my vacuum's original filter pack, but enough was enough. Purchased this replacement and it is a nice fit. No more post-vacuum odor!

The washable filter (black foam) needs regular washing for optimal use.
