AirSpeed Technology

Unlike most other vacuums, AirSpeed ONE is engineered with an efficient air path with limited bends and turns. This allows more air to pass through the vacuum. The direct air path from floor to cup decreases the distance for dirt to travel, which increases the amount of airflow for powerful suction. To clean with the attachments, simply set the suction control dial to “tools.”

VERY lightweight - great for those with pain

If you have pain and vacuuming is hard -- this has the potential to be a great vacuum. It is very light weight and overall easy to use.

I was also impressed by how much it picked up even after having just recently vacuumed with my Dyson.

The one problem (and it is a big one) -- is the handle and canister keep coming part from the base.

My husband in a manner of minutes had it come off three times then I had problems as well. He kept re-attaching it as instructed but it never seemed to secure well. This could be a user asembly error however he is excellent with these sorts of things and seldom has asembly problems and when he does it rarely occurs more than once.

Solid 5 for function and being light weight

a 1 for not holding together.

At first when I opened the box and started putting it together all the parts are kind of flimsy and super lightweight. This is the lightest vacuum I have ever owned. It was kind of a pain to put together and because its flimsy I doubted it would do well at all, so I was feeling a little sad and disappointed. BUT once I got started vacuuming the vacuum has so much sucking power it sucked about about two pounds of dirt in about five minutes doing just half of my living room! I cannot believe all the dirt my previous dirt devil vacuum left behind!!!!! I was vacumming every other week and had no idea my old vaccuum was leaving behind so much dirt.

This Eureka airspeed is very powerful even though its super lightweight. It definitely does have an airspeed technology like Ive never seen or felt or experienced before. It really sucks the carpet with super power and glides forward on its own.

Im going to tell a whole bunch of people about this wonderful vacuum. My carpet never looked so good. It feels softer and looks newer and cleaner. I think I will buy one for my mom.

One thing I noticed is that this vacuum must be spitting out small dust particles, even though I cant smell any dust or see it happening, its dusted all over the sides of the vacuum around the base. But this hasn't seemed to bother me too much. I havent tried cleaning the washable filter yet so I cant comment on that.

This vacuum is worth the money. I hope it holds up for at least a few years. Im happy to have super clean carpets.

Also, it is the quietest vacuum I have ever owned. I am not bothered buy the sound like I was all my other vacuums.

The Eureka AirSpeed ONE, Bagless Upright Vacuum was pretty easy to put together. I had it assembled in about 15 or 20 minutes. After I had it all ready to go, I wasn't too terribly impressed. It does look rather flimsy. In fact, I thought, "You gotta be kidding me." But, once I started to vacuum with it I quickly changed my mind. It really pulled up a LOT of cat hair and other stuff that was left behind by my other vacuum. I love how light it is and the size is easier to store in an apartment.

For the price, you really do get a lot of bang for your buck. It is a bit of a pain to remove the dust cup and reattach it but definitely not a deal breaker. Any down side to this vacuum is more than made up for by the insane suction power that really amazed me.

I was so amazed by how much cat fur and other icky stuff I picked up from vacuuming the hall and part of the dining area that I had to show a couple of my neighbors. And my neighbors, who also have cats, were impressed enough to asked to come into my apartment and take a look at my vacuum and try it out.

Actually, I'm impressed by it. For the price and how flimsy it looks I really didn't expect the suction power that it has to get the job done. And very well done if I may say so. This may not be the best high tech looking vacuum but, boy does this thing have powerful suction! Eureka did the right thing by skimping on looks and putting it all on power.

It's perfect for smaller living spaces like apartments and mobile homes. And it's perfect for people without a lot of strength since it only weighs 9 lbs., moves backs and forth quite easily (You can adjust the height to make it easier to use while still getting the job done well), and is easier to carry from place to place than any other vacuum I've ever owned (outside of a hand vac).
