This is a low-profile desk fan that is convenient to run off my computer. It is simple black plastic with an on/off switch on the back. It provides just enough breeze to cool me in a stuffy office and my office-mate doesn't notice the sound at all. But I kept finding it pointed 45 degrees from where it started. It turns out with the slick desk surface the fan's vibration/rotation move this little guy pretty quickly away from it's target. I solved it by sticking a piece of tape on each side of the stand. I'm happy with the functionality of this small, vibrating fellow.

At my work it can get a little stuffy, and I've had a portable 9" fan on my floor to move the air around. But even at the lowest setting it's too much. This little fan is perfect. The cord is a decent length so you can plug it in the back of your computer if needed. It's very quiet, and sitting on my desk, directed up to my face, it moves air pretty efficiently given its size. Word of warning though, it is made of very cheap plastic. In fact, the base was cracked (probably from the shipping). Not a big deal though as I just taped it up. I'd give it a 3.5 stars. I'd value it at about 5 bucks (it cost me a little over 8 bucks--actually, it cost me nothing because I used my Amazon points). The fan motor seems to be a good quality motor though. We'll see if it holds up after a couple of months of daily use.
